A Hook and Some String

What I'm currently loving on:

Above is one of my favorite pictures of something I have made. My Pookie Chicken (and Duck) family for my friend who has chickens. The majority of her flock are silkies so I made the chickens silkies. I had so much fun making these. They were my main project in 2018. The patterns are just so cute. They are part of a collection from Kelli's Kreations. When she came out with the chickens I immediately started on one. I highly suggest checking out her collection, even if it just for seeing such cute dolls and toys.

What I'm currently working on:

I'm still plugging away on my daughter's blanket. The Ripple Baby Blanket by Celeste Young. My darling queen wanted a blue spider web blanket. I started it um-diddy-um time ago... Ok in January 2018. I then made some chickens, and some scarves, and now I have been informed by a Rapunzel girl that I owe her the blanket.  A picture of the blanket will be coming as soon as I get it done.  6 rows, that is it!

What I'm planning on:

STASH BUST!!!

I really want to make more from Kelli's Kreations. I have so many of her patterns just sitting there and tons of acrylic that I need to get out of my drawers. I fell in love with the Santa collection and I think that summer is a great time to work on it.

I'm also starting to work on pencil scarves for my kid's school teachers. I'm going to  make a bunch in different colours to give to the school for teachers to use at drop off and pick up next year. I made a few last Christmas and they do not take long, also super cute and a way to stash bust that acrylic. I'm doing this without a pattern, although I do know there are some patterns out there on Ravelry.
Here is one that I think is really cute:

Hooked Up Crochet
Other mini projects going on are occasional hats, and cowls. I will use the occasional pattern, so if I find one I love I will put it out there. My basic hat pattern is the front post double crochet hat. so easy, super thick and will stretch (major coup with crochet.) An to make it even more fun an easy way to incorporate pictures into your hat.

Here is an example of a designer doing just that.
